Concealed Carry Skill Builder 10/11/25

This is a level 1.5 pistol course focused on the specific skills necessary to carry a concealed handgun safely, effectively and efficiently. Whether you already carry concealed as a responsible armed citizen (or plan to), this class will cover all the specifics of modern CCW tactics and techniques.

Due to the added level of complexity involved in concealed carry, this course requires having attended at least one level 1 class previously. This course satisfies the training requirement for the Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit. Successful completion of this class will be recognized with a certificate, which can be submitted to the AZ Department of Public Safety with your application for the CWP.

Different holster positions (Appendix, 3, 4, 5 o'clock, small of the back, etc.)

Required Gear

Functioning and well maintained handgun in a case.
Quality holster (IWB/OWB, non-Serpa) and a sturdy belt.
A minimum of 2 spare magazines
A minimum of 1 magazine pouch.
At least 150 rounds of quality ammunition.
Eye protection
Ear protection (electronic is recommended).
Close-toed shoes
Hydration
Snacks

Recommended Gear

Hat
Shemagh or other neck wrap to protect against sun and spent cartridges.
