This is an intermediate to advanced course that builds on the fundamentals learned in Defensive Pistol 1/1.5 and Introduction to Low Light Tactics* (in the Fall and Winter). You will drill a lot of one-handed and support side manipulations as well as essential combatives to effectively fight with a pistol in all lighting conditions. Must have successfully passed Practical Carbine 1 or 1.5 and Introduction to Low Light Tactics (if taking it in the fall or winter) or similar course(s) at another reputable school in order to be eligible to attend this class.

Required Gear

• Functioning and well maintained handgun in a case.
• Quality holster (IWB/OWB, non-Serpa) and a sturdy belt.
• A minimum of 2 spare magazines
• A minimum of 1 magazine pouch.
• At least 200 rounds of quality ammunition.
• Handheld flashlight (even if you already have a weapons mounted light).
• Shooting mat
• Eye protection (tinted/clear)
• Ear protection (electronic is recommended).
• Close-toed shoes
• Hydration
• Snacks

• Hat
• Shemagh or other neck wrap to protect against sun and spent cartridges.
